Who can get an API Shell Card?
Any API member over 18 can apply for a fuel card. Two cards can be issued for the same account, and the fuel cards can be used by immediate family members. However, payment for all purchases is the responsibility of the member.

How do I use the fuel card?
Simply swipe your card to pay for your purchase at Shell sites. The minimum purchase is $10 and you can keep your receipt to check against your monthly statement. The discount for the Shell Card will appear on your monthly statement.
When and how do I pay?
We send you one, easy to read monthly invoice, detailing all purchases for the previous month, and payment is direct debited from your pre-nominated account on the ‘due by’ date shown on the invoice.
How much will I save?
The Shell Card discount is calculated at 3 cents a litre off the pump price at time of purchase; V-Power and LPG fuels receive a .75 cent per litre discount.
How much does it cost?
An annual account keeping fee of $13.20 applies and now has a $1.50 per month fee applies. This fee applies if the card is used for purchases or not.
