Help Koala Conservation - Foster a Koala!

API Leisure & Lifestyle recently fostered two loveable koalas through the Australian Koala Foundation’s ‘Foster a Koala’ program. Koalas Kerrie and Lola live at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast. API was the first to foster a mum and joey at Dreamworld, and former CEO Maureen Landly warmly welcomed these additions to the API team.

We are pleased that companies and groups, as well as individual supporters, have the opportunity to foster a koala, and we encourage you to take part in safeguarding the future of these important Australians.

Thanks to the Australian Koala Foundation’s ‘Foster a Koala’ program, koalas who live in captivity are now able to help save their cousins in the wild. Their foster koalas live at various wildlife sanctuaries in Australia, where they are safe, well fed, and happy. Many people have travelled great distances to visit their koalas, and find it a most rewarding experience!

The Foundation focuses all its efforts on the conservation of wild koalas and the habitats on which they depend. They strongly believe that to help save wild koalas, you have to protect their habitats and the Australian Koala Foundation strives to achieve this through detailed mapping and planning, through strengthening legislation and through education.
